1. How do I control the robot and make it move?
The Mini Robot cannot move on its own directly out of the box. To activate movement, actions, sounds, and interactive features, the robot must be connected to the Mini Robot Base. The base powers and controls the robot, allowing it to perform programmed motions and animations.
2. Does the robot include official sounds or game-inspired details?
Yes. Robosen Mini Robots are officially licensed products and are designed with game-accurate styling, character-inspired motions, and themed sound effects to recreate the classic Metal Slug experience.
3. How long does the battery last?
The base has a built-in 2000mAh battery. A full charge takes about 150 minutes and provides around 120-300 minutes of playtime, depending on usage. base to diseconnect. Press the gray release buttons on both sides of the base to ejeect and swap characters.
4. How do I charge the robot?
Use a standard 5V/2A USB Type-C cable.- While charging: the left indicator flashes red. - Fully charged: the right indicator stays solid green. (Note: If the red light flashes again after unplugging/reconnecting, charge for a few minutes until the green light remains on.)
5. How many actions are included?
Each character comes pre-loaded with 14 distinct, highly articulated actions inspired by the game. For deeper control, connect the robot via USB and use Robosen Studio to design and program custom movements and action sequences.
6. How do I remove or swap characters?
Hold the Mode and Volume buttons on the base to diseconnect.
Press the gray release buttons on both sides of the base to ejeect and swap characters.
7. What do the front buttons do?
Mode Button: Switch between single-loop, sequential, and random playback.Play Button: Press once to play the next action, double press to stop, hold for 3 seconds to start autoplay.Volume Button: 5 adjustable levels, cycling from low to high.
8. How does standby mode work?
If no actions are played for over 2 minutes, the robot automatically performs standby actions.
9. Will there be more characters in the future?
Yes. Additional licensed characters are in design and development.Follow Robosen's official channels for updates.
10. Does it have Al or internet functions?
No. Mini Robots do not connect to Wi-Fi or the internet. They arenot smart speakers or alarm clocks, and have no AI voice assistant
11. Are there limits on programming?
No. The Mini Series does not support mobile apps or phone connections. Characters are compatible with Robosen Studio (programming) and Robosen Hub (community content), which currently run on computers only.
12. Can I play without programming?
Yes. Each audio file must be under 5MB, and the robot's memory capacity is 128MB
13. Does it support mini-games or creative play?
Yes. The base supports simple mini-games and combinations of actions + sounds for creative performances.
14. Is it safe for kids?
Yes. Mini Robots are made with safe materials and simple button controls. Recommended for ages 15+.
